We carry out research on children's development of social cognition with a focus on:

• the development of theory of mind in infancy, toddlerhood and preschool age
• the development of emotional understanding between 2 and 10 years of age
• the relation between language, theory of mind and emotion understanding

We test the efficacy of intervention programs to enhance children's social cognition in the context of nursery and kindergarten.
